Is there a way to slice the cheese so it won’t stick to the blade?

i wouldnt slice cheese on the slicer if you slice raw meat or meat that isnt cooked you could get ecoli or any other kind of bacteria unless you sterilized the blade
Grease/butter the blade.
I put mine in the freezer for about 15 minutes prior to slicing…it works good….
but having worked in the food industry for several years….there are interchangeable blades for cheese slicng….
The cheese needs to be hard. Stick it in the freezer for a while (don’t freeze it though).
Put the cheese in the freezer (DO NOT ALLOW CHEESE TO FREEZE) for about 30-40 minutes. This will set the cheese, that is harden it. It will cut much better.
Make sure the blade & machine is clean and the blade is SHARP.
Use a light pressure and somewhat slow speed. If to slow the friction from the blade will warm the cheese surface causing it to get soft (poor cut).
If you go to fast it rips the cheese-not cut it.
Ah the point-sticking to the balde. Well the oil or butter suggestion above is great if it is for your own use. The chilling idea I have suggested will help prevent sticking also. blade is SHARP.
Good luck.
